Krijg je eigen Lancer bij Gears of War 3
De meeste games komen tegenwoordig met een special edition waarin, naast de game zelf, toffe extra's zitten. Nu is bekend geworden dat Gamestop een exclusieve limited edition krijgt voor Gears of War 3.
Als je de Epic of Limited Edition bij Gamestop koopt, krijg je er een levensgrote Lancer-replica bij. Deze is met de hand beschilderd en maakt geluid als je de trekker overhaalt. Mocht je de game al ergens anders in de pre-rorder hebben staan, dan kun je de Lancer ook los kopen.
"Dubbed the Retro Lancer during the Lambent Invasion, the Pendulum Wars Lancer Assault Rifle was the preceding model to the Lancer Assault Rifle. Used primarily in the Pendulum Wars as the COG soldier’s primary choice weapon, it was abandoned about a year after Emergence Day because the weapon was ineffective to the Locust Horde’s fighting tactics. However, following the Sinking of Jacinto when supplies started becoming sparse, the Retro Lancer started cropping up in fighting forces once again."
Eerder werd al bekend hoe de Epic en Limited Edition er uit gaan zien. Gears of War 3 verschijnt in september voor Xbox 360. Verwacht wordt dat we tijdens de E3, die begin juni gehouden wordt, meer over de game te weten zullen komen.
