KRS-One - Sound Of Da Police

Bij sommige liedjes hoef je eigenlijk niks uit te leggen. "Woop, Woop. That's the sound of da police!" KRS-One begon ooit als de ene helft van Boogie Down Productions maar werd wereldberoemd met zijn obade aan het geluid van de mannen in het blauw. In 'Sound Of Da Police' legt hij ook nog eens de link tussen een officier van de politie en een opzichter van slaven.

The overseer had the right to get ill.
And if you fought back, the overseer had the right to kill.
The officer has the right to arrest.
And if you fight back they put a hole in your chest.
