Jaag streamers de stuipen op het lijf in Daylight

In navolging van het inmiddels beruchte Twitch Plays Pokemon gaat ook Zombie Studios' Daylight de Twitch-chat gebruiken, albeit op een iets andere manier. Door middel van chat-commandos kunnen spelers geluiden en events in de game triggeren om de speler de stuipen op het lijf te jagen.

Het systeem zou zowel voor PS4 als pc-streamers moeten werken. Welke mogelijkheden er allemaal zullen zijn is nog niet bekend, maar de ontwikkelaars gaven het volgende voorbeeld:

The example we’ve been tossing around (and is in no way final) is that someone watching a stream types the word “Meow” into the chat, which causes the game to make a corresponding sound of a cat. So yes. You can literally scare your friends now by watching the stream. There are two caveats to this:

1) They’re all on timers, so you can’t spam them. That would be ridiculous.
2) We’re not going to tell you the list of words. You’re going to have to find them through experimentation.

Daarnaast werd tevens de release date en de prijs van de game onthuld. Vanaf 8 april is de game verkrijgbaar op het PlayStation Network en op Steam voor een prijs van €14,99.
