Terwijl de huidige consoles nog steeds vechten om een plekje onder, op of naast de TV komt Namco met het bericht dat ze al bezig zijn aan de volgende generatie.

Yoichi Haraguchi (Vice President Namco): "Namco is already developing tools for next generation hardware. If we can apply the tools that we've made to other titles, we'll be able to reduce the development costs associated with making a single game. Thus, if we get the chance, we'd definitely like to cooperatively develop a game in this fashion in the future."
