Football Manager 2013 is officieel het bestverkopende spel in de Football Manager-serie. Dat heeft Miles Jacobson, studio director bij gameontwikkelaar Sports Interactive, via zijn Twitter-account bekendgemaakt.

"Hmm. So that happened earlier than I expected", was zijn eerste tweet. "I am delighted to announce that #FM13 has just become the best-selling game in the Football Manager series. Thank you so much for all your support!"
