Prijzen Cities XL bekend, geen Engels bij launch

Cities XL is een citybuilder van Monte Cristo die de leegte moet gaan opvullen in het genre dat er is sinds SimCity 4. Het unieke aan de game moet worden dat als je wilt je jouw steden kan bouwen op een online planeet, waardoor dit de eerste MMO citybuilder wordt. Je kan natuurlijk alleen offline spelen, maar de prijzen voor het online gedeelte zijn nu bekend gemaakt:

* 1 Month = 7€
* 3 Months = 5€/month
* 6 Months = 4.5€/month

Verder is er het marketingpraatje waarin de volgende features staan die je sowieso krijgt, waarover wat verdeling lijkt te ontstaan hoe positief dit is. Een voorbeeld is het eerste punt - sluit dit terraforming uit, iets wat al in citybuilders zit sinds de originele SimCity?

Verder gaf Monte Cristo aan in een vorige blogpost dat de releasedate van de Franse en Duitse versie op 3 september is en uitgegeven zal worden in Frankrijk, Duitsland, Zwitserland, Oostenrijk en Nederland. Dit zou betekenen dat iemand bij Monte Cristo dacht dat het een goed idee was om een Franse versie in Nederland uit te brengen. Een releasedatum voor de Engelstalige versie is nog niet bekend.
