EA is 3D-ready
EA heeft in een gesprek met potentiële investeerders bekendgemaakt dat hun meest recente producten (verleden, heden en toekomst) allemaal 3D-ready zijn. Het enige dat ze nog moeten doen is de 3D-switch omgooien.
Hoewel 3D nog niet veel gebruikt wordt, geeft EA aan dat zij verwachten dat 3D wel groots zal worden.
"We think 3D's interesting. We think it's still kind of early. People are buying the televisions now that feature 3D. We think it's something that will continue to grow and mature, but possibly a little early right now."
Zij geven als voorbeeld de Nintendo 3DS die in 2011 uitkomt.
"[3D will be] a little bit more interesting next year, certainly very interesting on the 3DS which has 3D built into it,"
"And what's nice for us is our content's all 3D-ready. So it's relatively easy for us to flip that 3D switch on and make our content 3D as opposed to having to remaster it or re-shoot it in order to make it 3D. We have 3D content so when the market's there, we're ready."
