Microsoft: MGS4 op de Xbox 360 zou geweldig zijn

Eén van de grootste PS3-exclusives, Metal Gear Solid 4, is een game waar Microsoft ongelofelijk jaloers op is. Dat vertelde de corporate vice-president van Xbox Live, John Schappert, namelijk.

"It would be wonderful to play Metal Gear Solid on the Xbox. It could become another of the many franchises that started their life on another console that are now coming our way," aldus Schappert. Maar kan de Xbox 360 wel MGS 4 op volle toeren draaien? "I can't speak on behalf of Konami, but I can shed more light on the fact that we definitely have the power to run MGS4. There are a lot of recent examples that are in true high-def on our platform and aren't on PS3. We've got an amazing amount of horsepower and graphics power."

Het is nog steeds mogelijk natuurlijk. Als het je lukt om de nieuwe Final Fantasy naar je eigen console te krijgen, dan kan het bij Metal Gear Solid IV ook. Maar dat hangt natuurlijk af van Konami. Zij hebben immers het laatste woord.
