EA komt met de release van Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth 2 ook met een collectors edition. Deze speciale versie bevat genoeg extra's om het hoofd van menig gamer op hol te brengen

De collectors edition bevat onder andere een the making of dvd, een boek vol met artwork, een poster, een landkaart van Middle-Earth en meer leuke extra's. Alsof dat nog niet genoeg is krijg je ook nog exclusieve in-game content. Het pronkstuk is de vuurspugende draak die je onder je bevel kunt krijgen. Verder krijg je onder andere ook nog enkele unieke maps.

De game komt ergens eind februari begin maart uit op de PC.
