Guitar Hero in Engeland ook te koop in muziekwinkels
Deze week lanceert Activision in Engeland de game Guitar Hero: World Tour. Niet de volledige bundel, slechts de game en de gitaren. Mensen die de game willen kopen hoeven daarvoor niet speciaal naar gamewinkels, in samenwerking met Active Music zal de game ook in muziekwinkels verkocht gaan worden. De reden hierachter is dat veel gitaristen en drummers speciaal naar dit soort winkels gaan om hun instrumenten te kopen. Het is dus de beste manier om ze ook kennis te laten maken met de casual variant van muziekmaken. Lee Worsley van Active Music verwacht dan ook dat de game erg goed zal gaan verkopen.a lot of guitarists and drummers tend to visit specialized outlets rather than the high-street to buy their instruments. This is a new market for Activision, they can see the potential of selling more copies of Guitar Hero by targeting a very specific customer, and they’re obviously going to sell well.All the stores we distribute to will be encouraged to display the items, which will give musicians a chance to see the game for themselves.
Guitar Hero: World Tour ligt vanaf 21 november in de Nederlandse winkels.
