Gearbox: ''Medal of Honor heeft een groot probleem''

Het is natuurlijk een beetje een voor de hand liggende conclusie, maar volgens Gearbox Software President Randy Pitchford heeft Medal of Honor een probleem. De franchise was leider in het WOII -shooter genre, maar verloor al snel terrein op concurrenten als Brothers in Arms van Gearbox.

Op dit moment doet MoH het niet heel slecht, maar het succes dat Medal of Honor: Allied Assault had werd nooit meer geëvenaard. Volgens Pitchford moet iemand met liefde voor het onderwerp de serie oppakken en weer naar nieuwe glorie leiden.

"It's a great franchise, and a lot of people love it, but I think somebody really needs to get hold of that franchise who cares about the subject matter and understands what the real promise and the fantasy is", aldus Randy Pitchford.
