Patch 1.15 en nieuwe ladder voor Starcraft

We zijn inmiddels negen jaar verder, maar Blizzard blijft Starcraft en diens uitbreidingsset Brood War ondersteunen. Nu zijn met patch 1.15 weer wat bugs weggepoetst, maar de belangrijkste aanvulling op de game is de implementatie van eigen ladders.

Feature Changes

- Approved organizations can now operate StarCraft leagues. See
http://www.battle.net.
- Replays are automatically saved as LastReplay.rep.

Bug Fixes

- Fixed a bug that allowed burrowed units to be stacked.

Exploits

- Fixed a vulture exploit that crashed games.
- Fixed an exploit that allowed the rally points of others to be set.
- Fixed a multicommand hack that crashed Macintosh players.

Blizzard zal voor diverse communities een eigen laddersysteem aanmaken op Battle.net, zodat je binnen je eigen clubje kunt strijden om wie nu de beste Zerg-, Protos- of Terran-commander is.

Het idee is afkomstig van WGTour, die dan ook de eer hebben om de eerste ladder te mogen ontvangen van Blizzard. Via een LDK (League Development Kit) zullen de heren webdevelopers van de diverse websites de rangen en standen van de ladder op hun site weer kunnen geven.
