11 bit studios S.A. is a game development company based in Warsaw, Poland. The company was officially formed on October 7, 2010, founded by former CD Projekt and Metropolis Software developers and staff members.^[1][2][3] The company's goal is to create games suitable for both hardcore gamers as well as casual gamers,^[1] and to make games easily available through digital distribution.^[4] 11 bit studio implement and deliver games to all main gaming platforms, including consoles, computers, and handhelds.^[4][5] They are best known for their award winning game, Anomaly: Warzone Earth—an action and real-time strategy reverse tower defense game.^[6]
