Als je een klein beetje medeleven hebt met je medemens en geen smerige homofobe nazi wil zijn, is het belangrijk dat je mensen ziet voor wat ze zijn. Niet alleen maar man of vrouw, want dat is maar een social construct - een sociaal stelsel dat is ontwikkeld om de witte patriarchie in stand te houden en mensen te onderdrukken - en dat is fout, maar ook alles ertussenin.
Tegenwoordig heb je namelijk niet meer alleen maar man of vrouw. Er zijn meer dan driehonderd(!!) genders, zo is gebleken bij sneeuwvlokjesstudies van net-niet-echte-wetenschappers.
Gelukkig is er een (hoopt men) volledige lijst van genders, die ook al niet volledig blijkt te zijn omdat het begrip gender volledig arbitrair is en iedereen zich buiten de bestaande lijst genders kan plaatsen en daarmee een nieuw gender kan bedenken. Maar voor nu; ben je geen mensenhatende, narcistische, gehersenspoelde, homofobe nazi, leer dan deze lijst alvast uit je hoofd. Want jij wil toch ook deugen?
En nee, het is niet oké om te zeggen 'prima dat jij je zo voelt, heb ik respect voor, maar verwacht niet van mij dat ik dat allemaal ga leren', want dat is gewoon een 'act of violence'. En waag het al helemaal niet te zeggen dat dit meer persoonlijkheden en persoonlijke voorkeuren zijn die niets met gender te maken hebben!
