Vannacht verscheen veel gelekte informatie en screenshots online van The Sims 4. De game zou eigenlijk volgende week op gamescom onthuld worden, maar de belangrijkste features zijn nu dus al te lezen.

The Sims 4 zal waarschijnlijk geen radicale veranderingen krijgen ten opzichte van zijn voorganger, maar de huizen en Sims kunnen nu nog beter worden aangepast. Verder zouden de Sims nu intelligenter zijn en meer gevoelens hebben. Eerder werd al bekend dat The Sims 4 niet altijd met het internet verbonden hoeft te zijn, zoals dat bij Simcity wel vereist is.
