Stainless Games wil Carmageddon naar consoles brengen

Na een succesvol verlopen Kickstarter-project wil gamestudio Stainless Games hun racespel Carmageddon: Reincarnation graag ook uitbrengen op Xbox 360 en PlayStation 3. Dat hebben Neil Barnden en Patrick Buckland van de studio aangegeven in een interview op de Eurogamer Expo.

"We really want to get it out on consoles as well. It depends on additional funding, but we’re working on that anyway. So we’re hopeful it can happen around the same time as the PC version", zegt Buckland. "It’s not like we completely have to re-do all the work to bring them to consoles. A lot of the technology is already there to take it to other platforms. We’re hoping that we can bring it out sooner rather than later", voegt Barnden daar aan toe.

Carmageddon: Reincarnation staat gepland voor een release op pc in februari 2013.
