[Spoiler] BioWare verduidelijkt rood einde Mass Effect 3

BioWare heeft een belangrijk iets uit het rode einde van Mass Effect 3 bevestigd. Wat het exact is kan je in de alinea hieronder lezen. Let wel op, onderstaande alinea bevatten spoilers betreffende het einde van Mass Effect 3.

BioWare heeft bekendgemaakt dat Shepard het rode einde van de Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut zal overleven. Aan het einde zien we Shepards grote liefde die twijfelend naar de lucht kijkt. Hierna zien we Shepard naar lucht happen waardoor onduidelijkheid ontstaat of Shepard blijft leven of niet. Hieronder een quote van een ontwikkelaar:

“You may notice that in the ‘Shepard lives’ ending, the love interest hesitates to place Shepard’s name on the wall, and instead looks up as though deep in thought. This is meant to suggest that the love interest is not ready to believe Shepard is dead, and the final scene reveals they are correct. As the Normandy lifts off, there is hope that the love interest and Shepard will again be together.”
