Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter multiplayer binnenkort free-to-play

Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter krijgt op 15 mei een nieuwe DLC pack met de naam "Legend of the Beast". De DLC bevat drie campagne missies, drie survival maps en drie versus maps voor $4,99. Daarbij wordt de originele multiplayer free-to-play.

Onder andere Capture the Flag, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Instant Kill, Last Man Standing, My Burden, Survival enTeam Survival zijn dan gratis te spelen. Dit komt niet geheel onverwachts, De ontwikkelaar Croteam heeft namelijk wel vaker F2P weekenden gehouden op Steam.

"Our team is very excited to extend the world of the classic Serious Sam: The Second Encounter and we think the fans will really enjoy the new areas and scenarios we've put into Legend of the Beast," zei Davor Hunski van Croteam over de aankondiging.
