'Nieuwe Mirrors Edge gebaseerd op Frostbite 2'

Mirror's Edge is nog niet dood, aldus EA-executive Frank Gibeau. Alhoewel we niks meer gehoord hebben over een vervolg, zegt Gibeau dat ze de game nog niet afgeschreven hebben. Hij gaf zelfs een subtiele hint dat we een nieuwe Mirror's Edge kunnen verwachten gemaakt op de Frostbite 2-engine.

"We're actively looking at how to bring it back in the right way. We love that franchise, the DICE guys really created something special the first time around. You've got to have a big idea to be able to do the next one, and that's what we're working on."

Misschien een combinatie tussen Mirrors Edge en de Battlefield 3-engine Frostbite 2? "Mirror's Edge, Frostbite 2 - I'm there. You'll see that combination, I'm sure," aldus Gibeau.
