Naughty Dog nog niet klaar met Drake

Uncharteds Naughty Dog is nog lang niet klaar met Drake, de protagonist uit de Uncharted-reeks. Naughty Dog is druk bezig met het derde deel uit de serie en ze zijn nog niet klaar om Drake te lozen. Dit is een kleine hint naar een (zeer waarschijnlijk) vierde deel in de Uncharted-reeks.

ND's game director Justin Richmond heeft in een interview met Edge Magazine aangegeven dat het avontuur voor Nathan Drake nog niet voorbij is. Echter, Richmond geeft ook aan dat ze moeten oppassen dat ze niet in herhaling vallen. De fans moeten constant nieuwe dingen tegenkomen. Zodra ND te veel dingen gaat repeteren, moeten ze iets nieuws vinden.

"You see it in the movies. They constantly reboot things you just saw ten years ago. You're like: "Wait a minute. I just saw that!" Spider-Man is just ridiculous. It's something you have to be careful of with any kind of creative endeavour, and the lure to reinvent yourself is always there.

But one good thing is that we feel we're not done with Drake yet; we haven't done all we wanted to do, and there are still technical hurdles and goals we want to get over, and do even more stuff in gameplay... We're very cogniscent of the legacy of what Drake is, and that every game should advance the story and the genre."
