Microsoft 'reageert' op negatief Xbox360-nieuws

Microsoft heeft officieel gereageerd op een enquête van het tijdschrift 'Game Informer'. Uit het onderzoek, waaraan 5000 lezers meededen, blijkt namelijk dat 54,2% van de Xbox360's na verloop van tijd stuk gaat.

Microsoft reageerde op dit negatieve nieuws met de volgende verklaring (waarin overigens met geen woord gerept wordt over het hoge percentage kapotte consoles):

"Microsoft stands behind the Xbox 360 as a superior entertainment console with one of the best warranties in the industry. We are constantly improving the design, manufacture and performance of the console through extensive testing of potential sources of any problems. Xbox 360 is pleased to maintain the title of 'most played console' and the vast majority of Xbox 360 customers have enjoyed a terrific gaming and entertainment experience since their first day, and continue to, day in and day out."

Uit de enquête kwam ook naar voren dat 6,8% van de Wii's door normaal gebruik kapot gaat, en dat 10,6% van Sony's console er aan moet geloven.
