Alone in the Dark ook naar PlayStation 2 en Wii
Alone in the Dark: Near Death Investigation, welke al eerder werd aangekondigd voor de PlayStation 3, PC en Xbox 360, zal ook op de PlayStation 2 en Wii verschijnen. Dat maakte uitgever Atari vandaag bekend. Beide versies zijn volledig voor hun systeem opgebouwd. De hardware van beide consoles wordt flink op de proef gesteld, want veel "next-gen" features van de 360 worden ook in deze versies geïmplementeerd. Near Death Investigation draait om Edward Carnby, hij moet in een enkele nacht het geheim ontrafelen achter Central Park in New York. "Realising the enormous ambition of Alone in the Dark is a huge technological challenge, which becomes even more demanding on Wii and PlayStation 2. However, we’re certain players will be impressed with what Hydravision have achieved on the two consoles, not least with the Wii game which is perfectly adapted to the gameplay thanks to the console’s unique controllers."
