Update van Crackdown zorgt voor problemen

Helaas blijken er problemen te zijn met de gratis update. Het kan zijn dat deze update je save game reset, en er voor zorgt dat je dus helemaal opnieuw moet beginnen.
Wat blijkt nu, het gebeurt alleen als je na de patch een co-op game start voordat je een singleplayer spel begint. Op het officiële Crackdown forum is nu een work-around geplaatst door één van de medewerkers:

We are aware that the recently released Crackdown DLC is causing some gamers to experience a reset of their saved games when they engage in co-op play. The team is working extremely hard to identify the issue and has provided steps to avoid the problem.

Simply follow these instructions:

Sign-in to Xbox Live
Start Crackdown and receive new Title Update (if you haven't already)
Begin a Single Player Campaign game
Once loaded, press Start and choose 'Quit'
Reboot Crackdown (soft reboot or hard reboot of console)
By following the steps above, this will ensure that your Crackdown experience will be trouble-free. You will then be able to enjoy the new title update features, the 'Free-For-All' DLC pack, as well as all the goodies found in the 'Getting Busy Bonus Pack'

Het komt er dus op neer dat je na de update even een singleplayer spel moet starten en sluiten om de bug te voorkomen.
Helaas wordt er ook bij gezegd dat dit de oude save game niet herstelt.
