God of War wordt trilogie

Na een lange periode van afwezigheid heeft David Jaffe, de man achter God of War, eindelijk weer eens iets op zijn online blog geplaatst. En niet zo maar een bericht, Jeffe laat doorschemeren dat God of War waarschijnlijk een trilogie wordt! In zijn eigen woorden:

“As Cory (Barlog, GoW2 director) and I have said to the press, God of War 2 is the second act of a bigger story. And when you are making a game, you never really know if the game will turn out good enough to merit another one in the series. But after last week, I can say I am very confident of our chances to be able to complete the God of War trilogy. You never know, but that's me just putting it out there.”

Gamers die teleurgesteld waren dat God of War 2 op de PS2 verschijnt en niet op een next-gene console, kunnen zich dus alvast verheugen op het derde deel op de PS3.
