Zoals sommigen van jullie wel gemerkt hebben, zijn er sinds enkele dagen een aantal nieuwe functies op xbox.com. Zo is het allereerst mogelijk om een friends-request te sturen naar iemand. Mocht je er eentje ontvangen kan je deze online accepteren of weigeren. Tevens is het mogelijk mensen van je friends list af te halen.

"I can't tell you how long we've wanted to do this feature, and it's finally here. You don't have to look at those pending friend requests anymore, and you also don't have to wait 'til you get to the console to send a friend request to that guy or gal in the forums!" aldus Clinton Fowler, hoofd Xbox programma manager in een post op xbox.com.
