C&VG meldt op hun site dat Mario 3 on 3 niet alleen op de DS verschijnt maar ook een Cube versie krijgt:

A nintendo spokesperson has just confirmed the game is releasing on DS and GameCube. There will be no connectivity between the titles and it's said to look rather promising. When we have visual evidence to share, we'll make sure to dunk our balls in your general direction
