Gizmondo wordt gefabriceerd door Flextronics

De Gizmondo is een multimedia handheld, dat Windows CE als Operating System heeft. Het 2.8-inch grote TFT-kleuren scherm, de Samsung ARM900 400MHz processor en de 64-bit grafische kaart moeten zorgen voor de goede graphics van de games. Ook is de handheld te gebruiken als mobiele telefoon, mp-3 speler, fotocamera en met behulp van de ingebouwde GPS kan je zelfs een routeplanner gebruiken. Of de Gizmondo het van de Nintendo DS en de PSP kan winnen is de vraag, want ze komen alledrie ongeveer tegelijk uit. De concurrentie is dus groot en de tijd zal het ons leren.
