Britse premier Johnson: 'Na online racisme kom je stadion niet meer in'
Mensen die zich in Groot-Brittannië schuldig maken aan racisme, zouden op korte termijn niet meer welkom moeten zijn in sportstadions. Premier Boris Johnson wil hiervoor de wetgeving aan passen. "Als je je online schuldig maakt aan racistisch misbruik van voetballers, dan ga je niet naar de wedstrijd. Geen mitsen, geen maren. De Britten verloren afgelopen zondag de finale van EURO2020 van Italië na een zinderende strafschoppenserie. Drie donker getinte voetballers misten strafschoppen en werden na afloop van de wedstrijd racistisch bejegend.
