Vanaf vandaag is de documentaire Minecraft: The Story of Mojang exclusief in premiere gegaan op Xbox Live. Nou ja, exclusief? Ontwikkelaar 2 Player Productions heeft inmiddels de documentaire op de welbekende torrentsite The Pirate Bay geüpload.
Als ze de docu niet zouden hebben geüpload dan had iemand anders dat wel gedaan. om deze actie te voorkomen heeft de ontwikkelaar zelf de film op de torrentsite geplaatst.
"We wanted to come here first because we knew the movie would end up here eventually, and the best thing to do seemed to be opening a dialogue. Torrents and piracy are a way of life and it probably won't be going anywhere anytime soon. There are many people that want to punish you for that, but we have a more realistic outlook on things", aldus 2 Player Productions.
Minecraft: The Story of Mojang is nu online beschikbaar en wordt morgen op DVD verwacht.
