PS3-versie Mass Effect 2 krijgt ook DLC
Baas van BioWare, Ray Muzyka, heeft in een interview gezegd dat Mass Effect 2 op de PlayStation 3 ook DLC en het Cerberus Network krijgt. Het Cerberus Netwerk bevat gratis DLC, en deze kon je krijgen door de game nieuw te kopen en de code te gebruiken die in het doosje zat. Anders moest je 1200 MSP betalen. Dit was om tweedehands verkopen tegen te gaan.
Muzyka zei het volgende over DLC: "One of the things we're doing is that we're bringing a lot of the post-release downloadable content and will integrate it into the experience, so that PS3 fans can check that out and play it," en dit over het Cerberus Network: "I guess in terms of what the Cerberus Network represents, it really represents a lot of content, it represents a lot of post-release support, and we... do want make sure the PS3 fans get that experience in as full away as possible,"
Verder hoeven de PlayStation 3-gamers zich geen zorgen te maken over het verhaal. BioWare zal ervoor zorgen dat er een passende introductie komt die je zonder problemen het verhaal laat begrijpen. Mass Effect 2 komt in januari uit voor de PlayStation 3.
