Verkoopcijfers Japan: Monster Hunter ook op Wii populair
Het was afgelopen wee weer duidelijk dat de Monster Hunter-franchise vrij populair is in Japan, want de game komt met zijn versie op de Wii op de hoogste positie in de verkooplijst binnen. Een aantal Westerse titels haalde ook de top-10, zo komt Neerlands trots Killzone 2 op de derde plek binnen en vinden we Tom Clancy's HAWX op de tiende plek.
Op het gebied van hardware verandert er weinig. De PlayStation 3 blijft de best verkochte console van 2009, door wederom de Wii en Xbox 360 te verslaan. De PSP blijft het ook beter doen dan de DSi, al blijven de totale DS-verkopen nog iets hoger liggen, omdat de DS Lite nog aardig verkoopt.
