Lost Planet demo is foetsie

Na ongeveer 24 uur lang op het PlayStation Network gestaan te hebben, heeft Sony besloten om de Lost Planet: Extreme Condition demo offline te halen.

Chris Kramer, Sony's directeur van communicatie en community, berichtte op de PlayStation Blog dat de multiplayer demo verwijderd was dankzij "address issues that have come to light." Er is geen datum genoemd voor de re-release van de demo.

"We will be working overtime to correct the issue and expect to upload a new version to the PlayStation Network as soon as possible that accurately reflects the incredible online features of the game," aldus Kramer. "For those of you who have already downloaded the demo, the servers are being taken down until the new version is ready to go."

In de demo was één map te spelen, namelijk Pirate Fortress. Hierop kon 8-player Elimination en Team Elimination gespeeld worden. Dit zijn slechts twee van de vier multiplayer modes in de game.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition staat voor een release op de PlayStation 3 op 26 februari.
