Top 100 best verkochte games in Japan in 2006

Onderstaand de top 100 best verkochte games dit jaar in het land van de rijzende zon. Zoals elk jaar vinden we ook nu weer geen titels van Westerse bodem in de lijst en het zal voor velen geen verrassing zijn dat de DS en PS2 de lijst domineren. Andere interessante feitjes zijn verder dat er bijvoorbeeld 34 RPG's in de lijst staan, dat er 43 PS2 games in staan en dat 37 DS games de lijst hebben gehaald. De DS wint echter in verkochte aantallen met een straatlengte. De GameCube gaat het minder voor de wind met slechts 1 game in de lijst, en de 360 en PS3 wisten de lijst helemaal niet te halen.
