Sword of the Stars 'gold'

Ontwikkelaar Kerberos en uitgever Lighthouse hebben onlangs bekend gemaakt dat de strategie game Sword of the Stars gold status heeft bereikt. De game zal 22 augustus in Noord-Amerika verschijnen en een ruime week later op 1 september in Europa.

Sword of the Stars wordt betiteld als een 4X space game. 4X staat voor "eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate". Dit is zowel offline als online mogelijk. Het resultaat moet epische ruimte gevechten zijn.

De beide bedrijven zijn in ieder geval (tot niemands verrassing) erg blij met het resultaat. Zo zei CEO van Kerberos:"We here at Kerberos are pleased and excited to see our flagship title, Sword of the Stars, on its way to shelves. Working with Lighthouse has been a real treat for a bunch of industry vets like ourselves and we are proud to go into stores under the Lighthouse banner. We are looking forward to bringing gamers a new and evolutionary franchise to the realm of 4X."
