[Update]Blizzard onthult Diablo 3 niet op E3

Gisteren stond er op IGN een advertentie om lezers te verleiden zich op te geven voor de betaaldienst IGN Insider. De subtitel van de advertentie: "E3 2006: Get Inside" wekte de indruk dat Diablo 3 een van de titels is die Blizzard dit jaar zal laten zien op de E3.

Helaas blijkt dit te berusten op een misverstand:

Through a gap in communication, the IGN Insider promo mistakenly implied that the game would be part of the coverage offered at next week's convention. Sadly for us all, this was simply a production error. Blizzard has no plans to show Diablo 3 at the conference, as they had told IGN editorial in the past. The developer is focusing all of their energy towards promotion of the first World of Warcraft expansion -- The Burning Crusade -- and will save any announcements they may or may not have planned for a later date.
