Google gaat ook games maken
Goed nieuws voor alle Google-fanboys en -girls. Google is namelijk op zoek naar een Games Product Manager voor hun Google at Games. Tot nu toe waren er allemaal geruchten omtrent Googles activiteiten op gamegebied. Dit is de eerste keer dat Google zelf naar buiten komt over Google at Games.
Google is op zoek naar iemand die strategieën zal gaan opzetten voor de nieuwe tak. De product manager zal veel gaan samenwerken met developers, social media en klanten van Google. Het is in ieder geval duidelijk dat Google zich voornamelijk zal gaan storten op de social media. Of ze hier hun eigen Android-systeem mee bedoelen of webbased games is niet duidelijk.
"We are looking for a strategic, technical and game-loving Product Manager to drive Google's gaming strategy. You will design strategies for game distribution and discovery, player identity, game mechanics, and more. In addition to designing a great user experience and building out key partnerships, you will be significantly influencing Google's social platform as you work directly with a critical set of early adopters, game developers.
Interesting and impactful decisions involving social gaming, privacy, virality, business, and technical APIs await you and the strong, passionate team of gamers you will work with."
